1. About Akivuki
Akivuki is a marketplace where independent artists sell original work to buyers. We host the listings, run the checkout, and help with shipping. The artwork itself belongs to the artist who made it until it's sold.
2. Buying
When you place an order, you agree to give a correct shipping address and pay the listed price plus shipping. Once a piece has shipped, the order can't be cancelled. If a piece arrives damaged, write to us within 7 days and we'll arrange a refund or replacement.
3. Selling as an artist
Every listed piece must be original, made by you, and described honestly. Once a buyer pays, you have 7 working days to ship and add a tracking number from the artist dashboard. Akivuki keeps a 10% fee on each sale; the rest is paid out to your connected account.
4. What you can't list
No copies of someone else's work, nothing illegal, and nothing unsuitable for a general audience. We can remove any listing or close any account that breaks these rules.
5. Copyright
Artists keep the copyright on their work. By listing on Akivuki you give us permission to show the work and its photos on the site and in marketing for the site.
6. Limits
We do our best to keep Akivuki running, but we can't promise it will always be online or perfect. If something goes wrong, our responsibility is limited to the value of the order.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If you keep using Akivuki after a change, that means you've accepted the new version.
